Ever since ‘Myna’ Kannada cinema of Nagashekhar that showcased ‘Doodhsagar’ so well in Sathya Hegde camera work the people visiting the place has turned out to be good.

Now a film with ‘Doodhsgar’ by veteran post production unit in prestigious Cunningham Road Sri Chamundeswari Studio is all set for post production completing shooting.

Given up film production after loss of Rs.40 lakhs in making ‘Subhadra Kalyana’ in 1969 (very difficult to believe the losses figures) Sri Chamundeswari Studio is returning back to production with lot of care and affection.

Smt Rajalakshmi and Mr Shadagopan proprietors of Chamundeswari Studio addressed the media and expressed satisfaction on making this film. We are doing the film according to present day taste and choice. It is like how we have state of the art technology in our studio says Shadagopan.

‘Doodhsagar’….Pritsor Jothegidre has story, screenplay and direction by Samuvel Tony and Akshay a friend of the director is playing lead with Deepika Das a ‘Hassan Express’ in the lead role.

At the 2500 square feet floor of Chamundeswari Studio the surprise was actress Ramya Barna dancing for an item song. Radhe Radhe…is a posh Dhaba set. The hero comes to this play and he goes on a flashback with his lover watching Ramya Barna dancing.

The pride of Kannada actress Ramya Barna also going for item song is a new development. I don’t mind in appearing this type of song. You can call in any way this song is concerned she says. For an affectionate call from Rajalakshmi Madam I am appearing in this song says Ramya Barna.

What is Doodhsagar – Love is as pure as milk. We have made comparison. The pains and pleasures are part of this film. It is shot in Ramanagara, Sakleshpura, Chickmagalur and other places. Samuvel Tony worked in the camp of Srikanth for ‘Teenage’. He hails from Yadgir and the narration is different he says confidently.

Looking good and also talking good Deepika Das says the duel shade role is very challenging one. I was in ‘Charulatha’ as Siamese to Priyamani. She is the inspiration for me to acting says Das. She hails from Hassan district of Karnataka.
